Sarah Fujiwara
Photographic artist Sarah Fujiwara has been based in France since 2000. Her primary work has featured aspects of oil painting combined with other forms, the amalgam of which has created a unique expressive aspect. Her last series Neuma gave us a powerful insight into the beauty-versus-reason interpretation of nature. This time, she takes the Edith Piaf song —La Vie en rose—as muse, to bring us a brilliant and vivid photographic experience, one that conjures the majesty of the painted form in large-format shots of rose and lotus plants, portrayed with vibrance and splendor.
