Zen Foto Gallery will hold an exhibition of early photographs by Akira Tanno “Circus of Showa Japan, 1956-1957”, to be accompanied by a new book of the same title. This exhibition and book had been planned for some time, but it is of great sadness that Akira Tanno recently succumbed to pneumonia on 5th August. The exhibition will take place as scheduled, and audiences are invited to see the works by one of Japan’s post-war masters of photography and founder of the Vivo photography group.
