Kaoru Oda
Kaoru Oda was born in 1979 and studied metal hammering at Tokyo University of the Arts. She began work as a professional artist upon completing her graduate studies there in 2007. In 2014, she made the most of the large atrium space at the Hiratsuka Museum of Art with a body of new work resembling an installation, along with some previously pieces. It was at once clear that she was an artist to look out for. This is her first solo exhibition at Art Front, although the gallery has had the happy opportunity to introduce her at extra-gallery events such as an exhibition at T-Site in Daikanyama. Oda possesses enormous potential, and the gallery looks forward to continuing to support her.
