This event has ended.

Aiming to reach a hyper-dimension, a hyper-technology, a hyper-energy, D[di:] spurns on action, the power of living forms, through colorful parodies of the sand mandalas of Tibetan monks rendered in flower motifs. Here he takes offensive phrases such as “liar!” or “idiot” and transforms them into “pretty” designs which he hopes may spark a trigger towards action. Having debuted as a novelist while still studying at Tama Art University with the work “Fantastic Silent”, he has gone on to work across literature, manga, illustration, fashion and design, crumbling the boundaries between high art/pop culture, commercial/non-commercial, art/design. Here he touches upon the taboo and lifts it in an ascension which moves beyond borders.
