As information technology continues to consume our everyday, it is not only the devices which surround us that change, but also our own perceptions and senses which become expanded. The glitch technique which emerged in music from the mid 90s may be seen as evidence of how our receptivity of digital technology has transformed. Besides this we may observe how the digital tools at the heart of electronic music and internet culture have overcome materiality, to inhabit the virtual realm while also affording a new physical experience. Here information technology may be seen to be feeding back to the body rather than disconnecting from it, restoring the human sense or perhaps rather imitating it. This exhibition unravels the bodily perception in the post-internet age through a collection of works including video, image and electronic sound.
