Force is a work which draws upon the physical properties of liquid and its relation to gravity. Here a stream of black oil flows vertically from the ceiling like rain and collects in a black pool upon the floor. The viscous silicon oil continues to flow with speed in a liquid sculpture which blurs the boundary between solid and fluid. In its finely composed form this work takes on the dimensions of time, space and material to form an ongoing “moment” in what may be described as a new concept of sculpture.
