Opportunities for food producers and consumers to connect directly with each other are on the rise with farmers markets and farm-to-table direct shipping. As part of this movement, the d47 Museum’s “Food Action Project” introduces one item from producers and manufacturers of each of Japan’s 47 prefectures. This market-like event showcases and sells its spices, alcohol, tea, vegetables, and other foodstuffs.
