In his first solo exhibition Tomomitsu Tada presents multilayered works formed from the strata of water colors, pastels, oil paint and acrylic. Incorporating drawing and translucent depths these paintings combine the figurative with a certain removal from reality, with symbolic depictions of motifs of fruits, animals, trees and mountains which touch upon a sense of animism.
