Artists

Kumi Kaguraoka
Presenting the works of Kumi Kaguraoka, selected from 100 creators as the Grand Prix winner of this May’s Spiral Independent Creators’ Festival. The “Plucking Up Light” series uses small mirrors to create a body of points of light reflecting the observer like a pointillist painting in a call-and-response between work and viewer. These space installations use analogue techniques in a visual experience that seems to digitalize one’s own self.
