The exhibition “Constellations of the Earth (Daichi no Seiza) Project— Tsukuba Constellation/Moriya Constellation” held from Feb. 7 through Mar. 7, 2015, presented a collaboration by the artist Hiroshi Suzuki, the Kanazawa College of Art, and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) that mapped earth-based constellations with satellites. The exhibit featured works depicting the Tsukuba Constellation and the Moriya Constellation using imaging data taken by Suzuki. Produced with images and differential analysis, these constellations reflected the changing landscapes of the towns. The documents on display in this exhibition tell the project’s full story.
