Shibuya Hikarie 8/ d47 Museum
Finished
Placing a spotlight upon the links of the work of 47 creative designers with notions of local identity and community. From craft to agriculture, there is an ever increasing demand of design needs proving that design which was once confined to the urban realm in fact connects deeply to traditional arts and food culture which has so many variations depending upon region. This exhibition follows the roots of each participating designer, examining how their work is bound to the land in which they work and how its reflects the specific character of each region.
