Artists

Keisuke Koizumi
Distorted human forms emphasizing curved and extended lines are reoccurring motifs in the work of Keisuke Koizumi. While the human body has long been a subject of art history, the dimensions of Koizumi’s figures seem capable of withstanding gravitational force, yet elude superficial realities such as skin texture. Their complex architectural constructions of voids and arches, pillars and beams form empty vessels for holding human vitality and eros. New paintings and sculptures are on display.
