Titled after the children’s literary classic “The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this two-part exhibition presents works by women artists represented by Art Unlimited. Part one displays kiri-e cut-paper art by Aya Morita, mosaics by Kayo Nishinomiya, and paintings by Meo Saito and Tamana Moteki. New works and those on display for the first time by these four artists using different materials and techniques evoke a garden full of tangled vines, blooming and fading flowers, snakes, cats, and other creatures.
