In 1992 the catchphrase “Are you hungry?” appeared on a particular advert for cup noodle. 23 years on Tomoni Shintaku opens an exhibition themed around cup noodle, with a stream of this fast food item streaming in a wave of over 5m from the ceiling and a river of disposable chopsticks spread across the floor, combined with the slurping sounds of cup noodle being consumed. Here the artist turns a critical eye upon greed, consumption and inequality.
