Artists

Masayasu Uchida
With soft, simple lines and bright colors, the 93-year-old still-active artist Masayasu Uchida illustrates original worlds on pieces of paper he tears with his hands. Depicting motifs such as the four seasons in Japan, his landscapes evoke a curious nostalgia. Autumn-themed works featuring changing mountain scenery from early to late fall and beautiful orange sunsets are on display.
