Moving to New York in the late 1980s and working as a master printer at one of New York’s leading print workshops “Universal Limited Art Editions” Hitoshi Kido went of to establish Kido Press, and this exhibition series traces the story across these stages through a collection of works from key artists Kido had particular exchange with during his time at ULAE between 1986-1994. This edition of the exhibition series places the spotlight upon the work of Robert Rauschenberg and his approach to the “photograph” through his copperplate print works.
