Whilst Kanako Tada works with the medium of painting she refuses to be confined by its conventions, using vivid colors with frantic brush strokes which seem to resonate with the viewers inner world and inspire images of the fundamentals of life and death. Mana Hayakawa on the other hand creates winged human figures, with a sense of the mythological combined with the distinctive features of a baby or small child. In her recent painting works she uses bright transparent colors, which appear to fuse reality and fiction.
