Itabashi Art Museum
Finished
The art of the painted screen is one passed down from Silla in the Hakuho era and reached new heights in the Muromachi period, with the expansion of the folded screen, coming to transform a space through its decorative forms. This exhibition features an impressive range of colorful expressions and design sensibilities as found within the museum collection.
