Unveiling the latest acquisitions of the museum with a selection of 40 works, including that of leader of postwar nihonga Toshio Matsuo, the large scale washi paper collages of young nihonga painter Natsunosuke Mise, the inner struggles of Tetsuya Ishida and the iron sculptures of nostalgic landscapes from Kaoru Oda. Other highlights include the masterful landscapes of Gakuryo Nakamura, Naoaki Yamamoto and Kokyo Kuroda. The poetic dedication to Cezanne seen in the work of Kan Irie is also accompanied by Yutaka Sasaki, Hisashi Nakagawa and Kyoko Hirano.
