Matsumura showcases his 4th solo exhibition observing the principles of classical painting composition combined with lyrical descriptions of everyday landscapes, transforming the scenes of the Kyoto riverside and residential neighborhoods into surfaces of narrative. On this occasion he takes on theme of daydreaming, opening up new fissures in the viewers’ conscious to expand into another world.
