Ever since 2006, G/P gallery has been introducing aspiring new talents through a series of showcases titled “The Exposed”. To celebrate its 9th exhibition, the guest curator Riku Iioka and the director Kohei Oyama join together to host an exhibition on the theme of “Passing Pictures.” For this show, young artists Shota Yamauchi, Pugment, Yohei Watanabe, Arata Mino, who were all born in late 80s/early 90s, will present each of their bodies of work alongside a collaborative artwork. Through the collaboration between wide ranging artists from various fields, this program challenges the boundary of photography and expands its scope to fashion, contemporary art, theater and film.
