Tatsuo Kawaguchi
Throughout his career Tatsuo Kawaguchi has dealt with the relationships between object and object, or object and human subject, encompassing the infinite possibilities of time, life and energy in this bond which remains invisible to the eye. Kawaguchi takes this invisible presence and brings it to form through an array of expressions including drawing and sculpture, utilizing the concrete example of the stairs as a reference to time and the psychological articulations subsumed in material.
