Through a process of portfolio review and interview, this open call exhibition has sought out 6 finalists, one of whom will be selected for a special solo exhibition through public presentations and critique session.
The selected finalists include Hikaru Ichijo with his ribbons of animal intestines, Katsuoto Nimei and repetitive processes of digital and analogue production, the wood block carvings of Norio Taniguchi, the kaleidoscope of scenes collated in a single image by Shohei Morimoto, the playful manga like works of Tomomi Mizukoshi, and the inner reflections of Megumi Fujita.
