Artists

Oliver Payne
Nansuka presents an exhibition of new works by British artist Oliver Payne (b. 1977). This exhibition will be Oliver Payne’s second solo exhibition at Nansuka and will be held simultaneously with a show at AishoNanzuka in Hong Kong, connecting these two venues with the works based on the symbolic images derived from video games and robot-animations. These works include a wall painting derived from Portal -a puzzle-platform video game to be played with controlling a character to solve the puzzles and have it teleported to another space-, the school desks equipped with video game emulators, a video work based on field research, and two-dimensional works of screen printing.
