Erkki Huthamo
Leading figure of media archeology and professor of UCLA, Erkki Huthamo presents a special talk on the very nature of media archeology, its challenges and possibilities. Here he assesses the currents of media history and technological determinism, reflecting on the past range of media cultures and examining its present embodiments. This event is held in conjunction with the Japanese release of his book “Media Archeology”.
