The Italian performer Gustavo Giacosa introduces works from the contemporary Italian movement Art Brut (outsider art) by three Japanese and three Italian artists. The Italian creators are presenting their works in Japan for the first time, while the Japanese participants have been selected as finalists in the Pocorart National Open Call Exhibition. Special events for this show reexamining what falls inside the category and on the periphery of “art” include a gallery talk by Giacosa and a workshop.
