Whether out in the world or in their homes, people are drawn to spaces with gradations and contours like steps, benches, bunk beds, and built-in shelves that bring an inviting and “spontaneous” kind of pleasure. This exhibition features three spaces designed with steps for Hiro Okubo’s “Home Collection.” Bookshelves made from contours in the wall also represent the “living in form” concept behind the series.
