Naotaka Hiro
Born in 1972 in Osaka, Hiro presently lives and works in Los Angeles. The work in this exhibition marks Hiro’s continued investigation into the nature of his body as unknowable in the extreme - except via mediated viewing - and will serve as an introduction within Japan to his more recent practice of daily drawing. Hiro’s recent practice incorporates an element of abstract narrative and an expanded imaginary towards his ongoing concerns.
