John Wood + Paul Harrison “Some Things Are Hard to Explain”

NTT ICC Inter Communication Center
Finished

Artists

John Wood, Paul Harrison
Since 1993, British-based artists John Wood and Paul Harrison have been producing performance, animation and architectural constructions as part of their unique collaborative practice. Having previously shown at the Mori Art Museum and the British Council-led touring exhibition, as well as at ICC in 2012, the duo have also found a receptive audience in Japan. With their vivid sense of humor and hint of absurdity, they bring a new perspective to the everyday with precision and clarity. Here they present across four sections a collection of performance, animation, stories and moving image, many of which are unveiled for the first time in Japan.
