Le Corbusier: Women and the Sea—Works from the Taisei Collection

Marking the 50th anniversary of the death of architect Le Corbusier (1887–1965), designer of the National Museum Of Western Art, Tokyo, this small exhibition presents works on themes of “women” and “the sea” with the cooperation of the Taisei Corporation, owner of a collection of artwork related to Le Corbusier. In addition to paintings, drawings, and other works from the late-1920s through 1950s, the Parisian Fondation Le Corbusier’s film “Le Corbusier in the 1930s” is introduced.
