A series of gramophone concerts is regularly held within Intermediatheque’s “Academia” lecture theatre. Focusing on the Satoshi Yuze record collection, these concerts present a selection of famous jazz recordings from the 1930-1940s played on the illustrious Victrola Credenza gramophone, a device offering a quality of sound now vanished from public spaces. This concert highlights the golden era of jazz trombone with notable trombonists from 1930s swing orchestras.
