Maki Katayama
Applying her own distinct principles to a variety of series, Maki Katayama has been known to produce two paintings simultaneously and in bringing their surfaces together at a certain timing inter-exchange their paint in a form of “collision”, always attempting to catch hold of the arbitrary in her painting process.
