This exhibition combines the talents of Bin Sugahara, a poet whose work runs in many different directions, and Yuki Otani, a designer and artist. An installation lets visitors play a cassette tape with a recording of Sugahara’s poem “Tell a Lie, Add a Star” on Side A and it’s logical inverse, “Don’t Lie, Lose a Star” on Side B. There is also an installation of drawings by Otani inspired by Sugahara’s poetry. Heightening all five senses, these works by two different artists invite visitors into a world emanating from within.
