Creation Project 2015 - Idate Knitting

The town of Idate, Fukushima is renowned for its knitwear. Here local textile makers have collaborated with large manufacturers to produce an array of original scarfs, blankets and other items. From young creators to experienced craftspeople, a total of 177 participants including the children of a local school destroyed in the earthquake of 3.11 have added their energy to this project. All proceeds will go to supporting children affected by the Tohoku disaster.
