Photography is more popular than ever in today’s world, and Tokyo is an international platform on which old and new cultures and technologies meet and create inspiration. In this time and place, the first Tokyo International Festival is an opportunity to contemplate the new role of photography under the motto “Focus on the Future.” Presenting workshops, portfolio reviews, and symposiums as well as exhibitions of work by internationally renowned and emerging photographers, TIPF will grow and expand each year during this time of dynamic and rapid change leading up to the Tokyo Olympics of 2020.

*A free shuttle bus will run between Ryutsu Center Station and Art Factory Jonanjima on October 9th–12th and October 17th–18th.
