Kei Tanimoto
Born in Iga, Mie, and traveling to Europe to study print making after completing a course in ceramics, Kei Tanimoto has been taking up the legacy of Iga-yaki ceramics while bringing them a new painterly twist for the current age ever since returning to Japan in 1977. Here he offers up 10 new works from the ongoing series “From the Ancient Past”.
