Whilst Mikito Ozeki takes on the traditional craft of paper cutouts, he reinterprets the very act of cutting paper in an innovative abstract form, opening up a boundless universe of options of “to cut or not to cut”. In this exhibition he presents a collection of works based on the theme of “overlap”, layering images to create a wave of time and experiences, combining scrupulously studied techniques and new approaches.
