The street artist JR has said that the goal of his participatory photo installations is to “connect people through art,” and in recent years he has continued to convey this message through film. Watari-um, which has been spreading the news of JR’s activities since 2013, now presents his three latest films, including a work on topics of youth violence and immigration produced last year, and this year’s “Ellis” starring Robert Deniro.
