Kobayashi Takanobu
Kobayashi’s latest five oil paintings and six drawings are all forest-based: inverted jars in the grass, blocks keeping impossible balance, a man lying along a river, and so on. Though these are fantasy-based narrative paintings, they have a mysterious attraction strongly evoking reality.
