The main character of “The Girl Painter— Lucky-chan” is featured in humorous slapstick as she goes about her everyday artistic life. With a rather cynical observation of all that is involved in making, showing, and selling artwork and the artist activism emerging behind it, this manga leads us into the depths of the dilemma of the art world.
