Artists

Jasio Stefanski
Jasio Stefanski was born in Warsaw/Poland in 1987. He is a graphic designer currently living and working in Richmond/Virginia where he is a designer-in-residence at Virginia Commonwealth University. His work is both client-based and self-initiated. He is also a partner with Studio-Set, a design studio and previously taught graphic design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. This exhibition contains various aspects of Stefanski’s process and research — work generated using a dot matrix printer, experimental fonts, and work that bridges CSS code and screen printing. This summation represents his approach to process, code, and content, and places an emphasis on their inherent relationship(s).
