The Beijing Art Museum has approximately eighty thousand works of art focusing on Ming and Qing-era textiles, metal works, and ceramics. This exhibit will reveal the lives of women in the Ming and Qing eras, displaying approximately 120 pieces from the Beijing Art Museum collection including ornaments, calligraphic works, and paintings of Empress Dowager Cixi.
