The painted murals of public baths is a cultural expression which first began over 100 years ago and signifies a wonderful achievement of art amongst popular culture. Today there are only two such mural painters left in Japan, one of whom is the 80 year old Kiyoto Maruyama. Here he presents 30 mural designs of various scales, perfect for the home environment.
