Shibuya Art Festival returns for an eighth year to support artists and creators by bringing together the people and places of Shibuya. The event has renewed its image this year, holding its main program on the concourse area of Shibuya Station’s Tokyu Metro Exit 13 for the first time. Here final judging for the Shibuya Award 2016 will take place, with nominated artworks on display. In addition to the Art category from past years, this year includes a Film category for short films. Yusaku Imamura of Tokyo Wonder Site, Tomio Koyama of Tomio Koyama Gallery, and Takumi Kaseno of Kaikai Kiki will judge the Art category, while Shibuya Ward creative director Yuhi Komiyama will judge Film.
