Incubation Diary is a document of the cultivation of the Dichorragia nesimachus butterfly, which also features the artist’s daughter at her graduation ceremony and piano recital, inserting personal events of her family and her own presence. In a parallel of multiple times and spaces scattered together Natsumi Aoyagi combines numerous screens to create a shifting environment of growth, circulation and contemporary narrative.
