Presenting bronze works from Nishimura’s major “Sweet Rain” series. In addition to lotus leaves, a long-time motif of Nishimura’s, sculptures of other parts of the lotus plant, including a new seed sculpture called “Oblivion,” is on display. The relationship between humans and nature is a theme throughout Nishimura’s work. “Lesen,” meaning to read in German, explores the meaning of viewing an object.
