Zai Kuning
Heralded as one of Singapore’s most important artists today, Zai Kuning, whose multi-disciplinary practice includes painting, sculpture, performance, theatre, music and documentary film etc, presents his first solo exhibition in Japan. Drawing upon his deep interest in the history and the culture of the sea people in Riau, Zai has created a series of drawings in varying shades of black related to the Kuroshio current which connects Japan and Riau culturally in many ways.
