Kaori Nishio
Kaori Nishio, Director of the theater company “Bird Park,” will present a new performance. This is part of her solo-project that looks to deconstruct images of the “official” history of Japan and Malaysia based on her own personal experience of growing up in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2020, Tokyo will host the Olympic games for the second time, whilst Malaysia is looking to 2020 as the deadline by which it hopes to be recognized as a “developed country.”
