Featuring exhibitions, film screenings, operas, plays, performances, and carnival booths, Geidai is Tokyo University of the Arts’ traditional student festival in Ueno organized and run jointly by students in the art and music departments. This exhibition looks back on the festival’s long history, its relationship with Ueno, and art and society at the time of each event with pamphlets, fliers, and interviews contributed by past participants.
