With this year marking the 100th anniversary of his death, the 22nd Tokyo Illustrators Society exhibition spotlights author Natsume Soseki. Enjoy time travel courtesy of these 158 illustrators paying tribute to Soseki’s life, from his youth in Matsuyama and Kumamoto to his study-abroad in London and his role as a Japanese literary giant who searched and struggled for meaning in a new era.
